How I Work

Good GTM work is not just strategy. It is the operating discipline that helps a team execute.

Across every company I have helped scale, the same pattern shows up: growth becomes harder when the team, process, and platforms are no longer aligned to the stage of the business.

Sometimes the strategy is directionally right, but the operating rhythm has not caught up. Sometimes the team is strong, but the roles, process, or systems are creating friction. Sometimes the company has the right tools, but they are not being adopted in the flow of work.

My role is to help identify where the friction is, clarify what matters most, and build the structure the team can actually run.

The operating lens

People, process, and platforms have to work together.

I look at the revenue function as one connected operating system. The team you hire has to match the market you are selling into. The process has to reflect how your buyers actually buy. The platforms have to support the work instead of adding more administrative drag.

When those pieces are misaligned, growth feels harder than it should. When they work together, the business becomes easier to see, manage, and scale.

01
People

Build the team the next stage requires, not just the team the current org chart can absorb.

I start by looking at whether the team structure matches the company's stage, motion, and growth expectations. That includes role clarity, leadership capacity, hiring priorities, territory or segment coverage, quota and incentive alignment, onboarding, and the bench the business will need next. This is often where hidden friction lives. Good people can underperform when the structure around them is unclear, the motion has changed, or the expectations have outgrown the operating model.

Areas covered
  • Revenue org design
  • Hiring plan and role definition
  • VP Sales / CRO readiness
  • Quota, territory, and incentive alignment
  • Manager capacity and coaching rhythm
  • Onboarding and ramp structure
  • Cross-functional ownership across Sales, Marketing, CS, RevOps, and Product
02
Process

Create the sales motion and operating cadence the team can repeat.

A strong process is not about adding bureaucracy. It is about making the work clearer. I help define how opportunities are qualified, how stages are managed, how risk is surfaced, how forecast is inspected, and how the team decides where to focus. The goal is not a playbook that looks impressive in a document. It is a process the team understands, trusts, and uses in the field.

Areas covered
  • ICP and qualification framework
  • Sales stage definitions and exit criteria
  • Pipeline review cadence
  • Forecast methodology
  • Deal inspection rhythm
  • Enterprise motion and stakeholder mapping
  • Renewal, expansion, and customer handoff process
  • Operating meetings and executive visibility

Platforms

Use tools and AI to create leverage, not more work.

The technology stack should make the business easier to run. Too often, it does the opposite. CRM fields become inconsistent. Tools are bought but not adopted. Teams create workarounds. AI gets tested in pockets but not connected to the workflows that matter. I assess what is in place, what is being used, what is creating drag, and where the team is ready for more leverage. The standard is not implementation. It is adoption.

Areas covered
  • CRM and revenue platform review
  • Tech stack rationalization
  • Workflow and adoption gaps
  • Sales engagement and forecasting tools
  • AI use case prioritization
  • Prompt, process, and workflow templates
  • Governance and usage cadence
  • Practical enablement for the team
How the work feels

Structured, but not rigid. Direct, but not disruptive.

The work is collaborative, practical, and grounded in the reality of the company's stage, team, market, and constraints. I work best with founders, CEOs, and teams who want a senior operating partner who can quickly understand the business, ask the right questions, identify the friction, and help the team move.

The best advisory work creates momentum without overwhelming the business.

People, process, and platforms only work when they are built for each other.

When they are, leaders can see the business clearly, the team knows what matters, and execution becomes more consistent.

That is the work.
